The Smoky Midway Pie
Created in partnership with K-Days, The Smoky Midway Pie is our take on the flavours of a summer fair—done the South Island Pie Co. way.
We start with whole pork shoulders, house-smoked low and slow over apple wood until they're fall-apart tender. The pork is then folded into a rich smoky gravy with onions, crisp Granny Smith apples, and herbs before being wrapped in our signature flaky pastry and baked to golden perfection.
The result is a pie that's smoky, hearty, and perfectly balanced with just a touch of sweetness. It's everything you'd hope to find after a day at the midway, only wrapped in pastry.

Ingredients: Pastry: Flour, Margarine (palm oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, soy lecithin), Water, Sugar (glucose-fructose), Salt, Ascorbic acid.
Filling: Pork, onions, chicken stock (chicken stock, salt, yeast extract,
natural flavour), apples, apple juice, butter, wheat flour, salt,
black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme.
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 f.
Cook for 40-45 minutes (baking times may vary).
